These terms apply when you buy from [HAIRMANICS LEGAL NAME] ("Hairmanics", "we", "us") through www.hairmanics.com (the "Shop"). By placing an order you agree to these terms, our Returns and Hygiene Policy, Delivery Policy and Privacy Policy.

1. About us (Electronic Communications and Transactions Act, section 43)

2. Products

2.1 We sell hair extensions, currently tape-in extensions in the shades and lengths shown in the Shop (for example 18", 20" and 22", in 50 g packs). 2.2 Photos show the product as accurately as we can. Shades can look different on different screens and on different hair, so small colour differences are not a defect. 2.3 Descriptions of how many packs you may need are a guide only. We recommend professional fitting by a qualified stylist.

3. Prices

3.1 Prices are in South African rand (ZAR) and include VAT at the standard rate. 3.2 Delivery costs are shown at checkout before you pay. Collection from our salon is free. 3.3 If a price in the Shop is clearly wrong because of an error, we will tell you before we dispatch. You may pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund. 3.4 We may change prices at any time, but changes don't affect orders already paid.

4. Discount codes

4.1 Discount codes are subject to the conditions shown with them, such as minimum spend, products, dates and number of uses. 4.2 Only one code may be used per order. Codes have no cash value and cannot be exchanged. 4.3 We may withdraw a code at any time, but not for orders already paid.

5. Ordering and payment

5.1 Your order is an offer to buy. A contract is formed when your payment is confirmed and we send you an order confirmation email. 5.2 Payments are processed by Paystack (card or Instant EFT). We never see or store your full card details. Paystack's own terms and privacy policy also apply to the payment. 5.3 An order is only treated as paid once Paystack confirms the payment to us. 5.4 If an item turns out to be out of stock after you have paid, we will contact you to offer a replacement or a full refund. 5.5 You can see your order details in your confirmation email. Keep it for your records. We keep a record of your order as set out in our Privacy Policy.

6. Delivery and collection

6.1 Delivery: we deliver within South Africa by courier, usually within [2–4] working days after payment. These times are estimates, not guarantees. 6.2 Collection: collection orders are ready at 12 Raats Drive, Table View, Cape Town, Western Cape, 7351, by appointment only (call or WhatsApp 079 782 0679 to book a time). We email you when your order is ready. Please bring your order number. 6.3 Risk in the goods passes to you when they are delivered to the address you gave us, or when you collect them. 6.4 Please check your order when it arrives and tell us within [48 hours] if anything is missing or damaged.

7. Cancelling, returns and refunds

7.1 Cooling-off (ECT Act, section 44): you may cancel an online order without reason within 7 days after you receive the goods. Goods must be returned unopened, with the seal intact and in their original packaging. You pay only the direct cost of returning them. We refund you in full within 30 days of your cancellation. 7.2 Hygiene: for health and hygiene reasons, hair extensions that have been opened, unsealed, tried on, fitted, cut, coloured or washed cannot be returned unless they are defective. We believe these goods "by reason of their nature cannot be returned" once opened (ECT Act, section 42(2)). This does not affect your rights for defective goods. [ADVISER TO CONFIRM] 7.3 Defective goods (Consumer Protection Act): if a product is defective or not as described, you may return it within 6 months of delivery for a repair, replacement or refund, as the Consumer Protection Act allows. This doesn't cover damage from fitting, heat, chemical treatment, colouring, misuse or normal wear. 7.4 To cancel or return, email [hello@yourdomain.co.za] with your order number. Full steps are in our Returns and Hygiene Policy. 7.5 Refunds go back to the original payment method through Paystack.

8. Care and use

8.1 Follow the care instructions supplied. Results depend on correct fitting and aftercare. 8.2 Do a patch test if you have sensitive skin. Stop using the product and see a doctor if irritation occurs. The tape adhesive may not suit everyone.

9. Liability

9.1 Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act or any other law that cannot be excluded. 9.2 Where the law allows, we are not responsible for indirect loss, or for loss caused by fitting, treatment or use of the product by a third party, such as a stylist.

10. Your information

We use your personal information only as explained in our Privacy Policy, and in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

11. Website security

The Shop uses an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Payments are handled on Paystack's secure, PCI-DSS-compliant platform. We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information.

12. Complaints

Please contact us first at hairmanics@hairmanics.com or 079 782 0679 and we'll try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied, you may contact the National Consumer Commission or the Consumer Goods and Services Ombud.

13. Changes and general

13.1 We may update these terms. The version on the Shop when you place your order applies to that order. 13.2 South African law applies. 13.3 If any part of these terms is found invalid, the rest still applies.
